tips if you are doing a cleanse

What to Bring and other Tips:

  • fill in these forms and requests before your arrival, most of these will help us optimize your retreat.
  • it is recommended to book your choice spa therapies at least 48 hours in advance of arrival.
  • bring your personal yoga mat, loose comfortable clothing, running shoes, layered clothing for cooler months
  • bathing suit if you are planning on using our outdoor Hot & Cold Water Immersion therapy
  • good walking shoes or boots depending on season
  • camera, a good book, journal, sketchbook
  • slippers are provided, however some guests prefer to bring their own
  • read and follow Grail Springs Peace Intention. We ask that all guests respect the privacy of others.
  • photo taking is permitted with respect for other guests
  • public areas are work free zones - please take cell phone calls in the privacy of your own suite
  • quiet times are 9pm to 7am

If you are doing a cleanse, we recommend eliminating the following from your diet a few days prior to arrival:

  • animal meat
  • soda pop
  • white sugar
  • white flour products
  • caffeine/coffee
  • alcohol
  • dairy
  • artificial or processed foods

If you are doing a cleanse, we recommend adding the following into your diet:

  • drink lots of water with lemon juice (4 oz max while eating)
  • decaffeinated herbal teas
  • dark green vegetables and lots of them
  • fruit in the morning only
  • wheatgrass if you have access
  • homemade vegetable juices
  • barley, oatmeal, chick peas, avocado
  • quinoa, bulgar, lentils, brown rice
  • pumpkin oil, walnut oil, sesame seed oil, hemp see oil, coconut oil
  • hemp, cashew, oat or almond milk
  • take a daily walk, breathe in deeply, and get ready for a life changing event!

Once home consider all of the above and more of the following...

  • adopt a plant-based diet
  • colon cleansing tea
  • take a weekly detox bath: himalayan salt, seaweed or dead sea salt
  • book an energy healing therapy; Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Massage
  • get your fresh air and lots of sunshine
  • steam saunas, dry saunas, FAR infrared saunas
  • yoga, deep breathing, nature walks
  • sleep, naps, meditation and more naps
  • stay positive and optimistic and you'll see and feel a change for the better
