Tofu Chocolate Torte

  • 1 pkg         silken tofu
  • ¼ cup       soy milk
  • ¼ cup       packed pitted dates
  • 1/3 cup    organic cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp        melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp          pure vanilla
  • ½ tsp        orange zest


  • ½ cup       unsweetened flaked coconut
  • ½ cup       ground raw almonds
  • ¾ cup       spelt flour
  • 1 tsp          fresh ground nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp       coconut oil
  • ¼ cup       pitted dates


  • For the crust blend in a food processor the almonds and dates then add the rest of the ingredients and knead until it forms a ball.  Press into a 9” round pan and chill.
  • For the filling blend all ingredients in a processor until smooth and pour into your chilled crust and refridgerate until firm. Garnish with mint leaf and red berry and serve.
