Raw Chocolate Chili Truffles
Sumptuous, Succulent and Good for you! Raw truffles are the answer to many chocolate lovers prayers as these little goodies are not only good for you they're also dangerously delicious!
- 3/4 c coconut oil
- 3/4 c agave *
- 1/2 c cocoa
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- dash of cayenne or chili powder
Sprinkling of coarse himalayan salt on top or fluer de sel mixing up the sweetners adds a new dimension to this recipe.
* I suggest adding in equal parts maple syrup, raw honey and agave for an exciting and rewarding twist!
In a food processor mix all ingredients together except for the coconut oil, On a stove top or bowl of hot water melt the coconut oil, once melted poor in to the food processor and blend until smooth. Pour chocolate into a piping bag or a plastic bag with the corner snipped off. Pipe out a line about an inch thick onto a nonstick surface (parchment paper works great or non-stick baking sheet, saran wrap) place into the freezer and let harden. Once they are solid take them out and cut into desired sized.
Be careful about handling them as they are very heat sensitive.
Sprinkle with salt for a surprising taste sensation! Eat and Enjoy!
