Accommodations

Choose From several room types:
Regular, Deluxe, Luxury, Spa Loft or one of our new Forest Eco-Tabins (tent-cabin!)

No two suites are alike. Designed and appointed by Madeleine Marentette, founder of Grail Springs, a designer in a past life. There are two sections to the estate. The oldest section was built in 1993 and would be described as 'country cozy' with Laura Ashley floral and striped wall papers and empire beds. There are regular, deluxe and luxury suites available on this side of the estate, close to the dining room and Great Hall. Three rooms overlook the lake, two overlook the garden side.

The newest section opened in 2001 and would be described as 'modern classical' with renaissance style accents, four-poster carved beds, gothic windows, rich tapestries, draperies and pillows from Belgium. Each of these rooms are spacious with propane fireplaces and walk-out balconies overlooking the lake, stream or gardens. Luxurious bathrooms, detailed fixtures and granite top counters, deep soaking tubs and most with rain showers. These suites are located in the section closest to the spa, meditation and yoga studio.

Eco-Forest Tabins (cross between a tent and a cabin) were erected in spring of 2010. Open seasonally from May to October, these accommodation are perfect for the person who wants to turn off electronics and tune in with nature. The tabins are well appointed with cozy duvets, vintage Hudson Bay wool blankets and handmade furnishings. This is camping luxury style. Note ~ the tabins are located via a five minute walk from the main building with a composting toilet nearby. Showers are located in the main building. The Algonquin Tabin is in a sunny location overlooking the horse paddock, the Highlander Tabin is in a shaded location tucked into the forest. Tabins are a two-minute walk from each other. Sleeps three comfortably (two double beds, one single).
