preparing for your retreat

What to Bring and other Tips:

  • Most important! Fill in these forms and requests before your arrival, most of these will help us optimize your retreat.
  • Spa therapies should be booked 48 hours in advance of arrival
  • yoga clothes, loose comfortable clothing, running shoes, layered clothing for cooler months
  • good walking shoes or wellington boots depending on season
  • camera, a good book, journal, sketchbook
  • slippers are provided, however some guests prefer to bring own
  • pre-order the salt-prepared Sole Bath if you are staying during a new or full moon - $40
  • read and follow Grail Springs Peace Intention. We ask that all guests respect the privacy of others.
  • photo taking is permitted with respect for other guests
  • cell phones are permitted but we ask that you make calls from the privacy of your own suite
  • highly recommended to arrive on a Sunday if coming for 5-nights or more to attend welcome talk
  • hop on the Sunday Shuttle from Toronto Airport for only $95 pp plus tax each way

Try to eliminate the following a few days prior to arrival:

  • animal meat
  • soda pop
  • white sugar
  • white flour products
  • caffeine
  • alcohol
  • dairy
  • white table salt
  • artificial or processed foods

Add the following into your diet a few days prior to arrival:

  • drink lots of water with lemon juice (4 oz max while eating)
  • decaffeinated herbal teas
  • dark green vegetables and lots of them
  • fruit in the morning only
  • wheatgrass if you have access
  • homemade vegetable juices
  • barley, oatmeal, chick peas, avocado
  • quinoa, bulgar, lentils, brown rice
  • pumpkin oil, walnut oil, sesame seed oil, hemp see oil, coconut oil
  • hemp, cashew or almond milk
  • start taking a probiotic if you plan on doing colonics while here
  • take a daily walk, breathe in deeply, and get ready for a life changing event!

Once home consider all of the above and more of the following...

  • adopt a plant-based diet
  • book a colonics once or twice during a seasonal cleanse
  • take a weekly detox bath: Himalayan salt, Austran Moor, Seaweed or Dead Sea Salt
  • book an energy healing therapy; Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Massage
  • get your fresh air and lots of sunshine
  • steam saunas, dry saunas, FAR infrared saunas
  • yoga, deep breathing, nature walks
  • sleep, naps, meditation and more naps
  • stay positive and optimistic and you'll see and feel a change for the better
