"When I arrived at Grail springs in April 2007 I could barely walk without my cane. With all the fasting, detoxifying, massages and other treatments, the pain I had been experiencing from Fibromyalgia improved to the point that I walked out of Grail Springs on check out and left my cane in the bathroom! I found my 'Holy Grail' and vowed to continue to eat the way I had been taught by the chefs. I lost 38 pounds and was relatively pain free without medication. It was a turning point in my life and I am so grateful to all the people who worked with me to reach that point. In January 2008 I returned for another week to be pampered and loved back to health after the sudden loss of my mother. I needed to rebalance my body and my emotions and with the help of everyone there I again left feeling renewed and more at peace than I had ever been in my life. I have certainly taken the Spa home with me and I use all the tools I learned there to make my daily life more comfortable and healthier every day. I experienced my own 'Awakening' during a meditation session under the infrared dome at Grail Springs and my life will never be the same. "I decided to go to Grail Springs at a time in my life when I needed to refuel and reconnect with myself. The idea of a reasonably affordable Canadian getaway that combined a solid weight loss program with luxurious spa treatments seemed tantalizing, but frankly, unbelievable.
