Grail Springs Life Guide for Transformation:

1) Wiping the Slate Clean
We will help you achieve the necessary internal cleansing through the food program and effective therapies. Mother Earth gives us natural substances that are excellent for the detoxification process such as seaweed, clays and moors. These elements in particular are excellent in drawing out toxins from the body, swift yet gentle, and most times giving immediate relief from inflammation, skin rashes and fatigue, all symptoms of over abundance of toxins in the body. Starting out with a clean slate is crucial to the next step, which is nourishment.

2) Diet & Nourishment
Firstly, food is probably the one area where most people will have to make the biggest changes. Seeing the list of the more potentially toxic foods will probably surprise and maybe disappoint you because they are in most of our every day food choices; red meat, white sugar, white flour, hydrogenated fats and caffeine to name a few. All of these cause congestion in the body and congestion is the leading cause of disease. However, with steady focus and a willingness to experiment with alternative replacements foods, these things can be given up eventually and happily so. You will be amazed at how delicious the food is at Grail Springs. Our chef uses no sugar, white flour or wheat. At Grail Springs we offer you a alkaline balanced organic diet, the missing link to achieving the appropriate weight, to achieving optimum health and ultimately preventing premature aging and disease.

3) Fitness & Movement
Daily movement improves circulation, enhances digestion, strengthens the endocrine system, alleviates stress, tension, improves energy and teaches breath training. Certain movements provide gentle massage to the internal organs which helps in the detoxification process. You will have a chance to try several fitness modalities while you are here. We encourage you to attend as many fitness classes as you can.

4) Breath Work & Relaxation
Breathing is one of the most natural functions of the body. Learn how to use deep breathing exercises for your health. The inhalation of oxygen creates the beginning of an exchange as the gas moves into the millions of alveoli in the lungs, then on to the blood in the surrounding capillaries where it moves carbon dioxide from the blood to the alveoli. Deep breathing exercises have been used for centuries as a way of relaxing the body, increasing oxygen intake which relieves tension and improves mental alertness. By experiencing some deep breathing exercises you can strengthen the lungs, relieve bronchitis, improve circulation, oxygenate the blood and minimize the reoccurrence of other health ailments.

5) The Mind~Body Connection
And finally the one thing that makes it all work in unison...peace of mind. Negative thoughts and stress will ultimately destroy, suck up, deplete and negate any positive work that you are doing to achieve better physical health. There are such things as emotional toxins and these are just as deadly to the function of the organs. North Americans are becoming moderately aware of meditation as a form of relaxation and healing. Although there are many types of meditation the simplest form is relaxation. Relaxation comes by way of slowing down the mind, your inner voice that is constantly chatting away and keeping you awake most nights. With daily practice and determination, the ability to shut down that voice eventually does come. In silence the body has a change to heal. Being at peace with yourself is as important as eating right or staying fit. Be at peace with yourself and you'll be at peace with the world. It’s a simple approach but none the less very powerful in maintaining good health and longevity.
