Sacred Journey to Machu Picchu

Itinerary: Day 7 to Day 13
May 7th ~ Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu: In the early morning we will board a train to Machu Picchu. The breathtaking view of the Urubamba Valley, where time stands still, will be a special preparation for our arrival in the Sacred Crystal City, known as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After we check into our hotels in the Aguas Calientes village and have lunch, we take the local bus up to the mountain and 30 minutes later we will be experiencing one of the most special moments of our journey, a moment many of us have dreamed for along time, and now it has finally come true.
Machu Picchu was a University where knowledgeable women practiced daily spirituality. Before entering Machu Picchu we will ask permission to Machu Picchu’s spiritual guides to allow us to enter its sacred walls. After a Sunset meditation at Intihuatana, the highest point of Machu Picchu, we take the last bus down to the village where you can enjoy the recommended Peruvian food offered at Indio Feliz (Happy Indian) restaurant. May 8th ~ Machu Picchu: As the Sun rises throught the holy mountains around Machu Picchu we will be in ceremony waiting to welcome Taita Inti (Father Sun) and its healing rays to light/bless us and this new day. Free time for meditation. After lunch, our guide will take us through a ‘city tour’ where we will experience the temples of the Sun, Condor, The House of the Chosen Woman, The Priestess Residential area and Temple of PachaMama (Mother Earth). Free Evening.
May 9th ~ Machu Picchu: Today is a free day with many choices for you to explore. You might take a walk in meditation around the magical area that surrounds the village, go for a fun shopping experience in the local indian market or return to Machu Picchu to hike Huany Picchu or find your sacred space in Machu Picchu to listen to your heart and the voice of your Soul. We meet again in a sacred circle with Madeleine and Vera 4:00 pm to process and sharing. Sweet Dreams!
May 10th ~ Machu Picchu/Cusco: Free Morning… you might take time to rest, walk around the magical area that surrounds the village, go for a fun shopping experience in the local indian market or return to Machu. Afternoon our train departs to Ollantaytambo 1:30 p.m. arriving at approximately 3:30 p.m. at Ollantaytambo train station from where we will take our bus to Cusco City. We will be arriving in Cusco around 5:00 p.m. Free evening to rest or explore this city of enchantment, romance, fun, beauty, ancient history, diversity and magic. Sweet Dreams!
May 11th ~ Cusco: “Navel of the Earth” according to the Incas is a warm and lovely city. The memories of its ancient inhabitants are still alive. The Incas developed an advanced awareness of energy and the knowledge of how to utilize each vibration for growth and transformation. Each temple was built at a specific point of power. Today we will experience the most important temples around Cusco. We will start at Saksayhuaman, one of the largest Temples of the God Inti (Father Sun). Here, we will connect with energies that support our shift in consciousness and in the opening of our hearts. We complete our Temples exploration at Qorikancha (enclosure of gold), at one time, the home of the Ancient Golden Sun Disc of the Motherland of Mu. Free afternoon to explore Cusco on your own. We meet at our hotel reception around 6:00 p.m. for a closing circle follow by an evening show.
May 12th ~ Cusco/Lima: After breakfast we transfer to the airport to check in to Lima. Free afternoon in Lima. Evening check in to International flight back home.
May 13th ~ HOME: We welcome you home after a transformational journey and we thank you for your love and participation in this magical event. May your heart and soul soar like the Condor forever on the memories of all you have seen, loved and shared. To PachaMama and all our mothers… Happy Mothers Day. Welcome Home!
