Yoga Retreat: January 16~18

Start your love affair with Yoga at Grail Springs!

If you’ve never done yoga before, if you’re new to Yoga or if you’re looking to go a bit deeper then this retreat is for you. Our staff will guide you through the foundations of yoga while sharing our love of this ancient practice. During the weekend you will learn the theory behind the practice as well as having the chance to embrace the sunrise salutations, the principles of Hatha Yoga and our very own Grail Morning Mantra. Workshops offered during this exciting weekend of discovery include the popular and humorous “Om So Easy Meditation” which will leave you with all the techniques you need to start incorporating meditation into your hectic life. Workshops on The Stress Response and Visioning will leave you feeling complete by the end of your stay. 

This retreat offers lovingly prepared foods focusing on the pH Balanced approach to nutrition as well as detoxifying spa therapies. Our grounds will bring out you inner child as you hike through our magical woods or spend time feeding our majestic horses. And don’t forget a trip to the Grotto complete with our hot mineral tub, cold plunge pool and dry sauna. By the end of the retreat you will know what stress does to our body chemistry and you will know how to detoxify using meditation and yoga techniques. You will have a better idea of how to eat for health and vision the future that you want for you!

Barbara Shaw loves her life as a wellness professional.Holding a Bachelor of Gerontology from Laurentian University, Barbara applies her unique gifts and years of practical study to the design and delivery of programs that make life better for all of her students. Yoga plays a huge part in her wellness wisdom and this is her favourtie thing to share with clients each day. Incorporating the ancient principles of yoga, meditation and a whole lot of laughter, students will be amazed how far they will travel with Barbara as their guide.
