Healthy Cooking and Healthy Eating at Grail Springs

Grail Springs is pleased to be working in partnership with Patty, creating delicious signature recipes for the Grail Springs pH balance approach to diet.

Parsnip Soup ~ Delicious!
Give it a try...

1 pound parsnips, peeled and chopped
1 onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup chopped leek
1 teaspoon coconut oil
4 cups vegetable broth
1/2 cups almond or rice milk
Himalyan salt to taste

Sweat parsnips, onion, garlic and leeks in coconut oil until soft, about 5 mins. Add the broth or water and simmer for about 10-15 mins.

Let cool slightly and puree in a blender until smooth then strain through a mesh strainer. Return to the stove and warm on low. Add the milk and season with Himalayan salt to your liking.
