Ancient scripture tells us in several places that foot~washing was a symbol of service to another, the act, meant to invoke a state of humility for both individuals. When we did our research we found coincidentally enough that the very root of this practice appears to be found in the hospitality practices of ancient civilizations. The host of the inn or tavern would provide a bowl of clean water for visitors to wash the dust off their sandy feet as most were wearing sandals and had travelled a long way by foot. They would often serve the guest personally by washing their feet for them. Rather entreprenueral we think…bed, breakfast and a foot bath! Nothing feels more wonderful then ending your day with a foot massage and climbing into bed with clean, soft feet!

A beautiful hand crafted, hammered copper bowl filled with aromatic essential oils and ocean salts awaits your tired feet. Soaking, scrubbing, massaging and pampering, all the while your feet are absorbing minerals to soften even the toughest soles. Massaged with a special organic seaweed mud, then wrapped in a full leaf of warm hand-harvested seaweed from Canada’s west coast. You even get to take it with you after your treatment to enjoy in a bath. Recommended for improving your circulation and provides total relaxation. Reflexology
Reflexology is thousands of years old and its origins were first observed in hieroglyphs in Egypt. This technique uses pressure-point massage on the feet to restore the healthy flow of vital energy throughout the entire body. Working on these pressure points follows corresponding meridian lines which opens up and bring that energy flow and nutrients to the organs helping to heal prevailing symptoms.
