Homemade Kale Chips

Ingredients:

  • 1 Bunch Fresh Organic Kale
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
  • juice of half a lemon
  • Himalayan salt (to taste)
  • pinch of cumin (to taste)
  • Excalibur Dehydrator

Directions:

Wash kale and cut it into 2-3 inch long strips. They will dehydrate and shrink slightly. Put the kale in a large bowl and toss with the olive oil, Himalayan salt, diced garlic, lemon juice, and cumin, to taste.

Let the kale marinade for 20 minutes. Place kale on a dehydrator tray and turn the dehydrator on to dry for 8 hours at 115F.

Once you get the hang of working with a dehydrator you'll be looking to experiment with so many other foods and spices!

And if you have kids in the house, they are going to love experimenting with you. Fun, Easy and SO Healthy!
