"The Race to Nowhere - Balancing Modern Family Pressures" panel discussion with Dana Hilmer, & Vicki Abeles
Tsh Oxenreider writes about simplifying life at home at Simple Mom, and in early 2010 she founded the network Simple Living Media, home to five blogs about simple living.
Her blog was nominated for Best New Blog of 2008, and has been mentioned on Apartment Therapy, HGTV, Better Homes and Gardens, Food Network, and more.
She is married to Kyle, and thinks he’s a great guy. They met in Kosovo, the former Yugoslavia, in 2000. She was working in a little village teaching English, and he was helping rebuild houses from the war. They have a pretty sweet love story, actually. she might write about it.
Together they have three kids – Tatum (they call her ‘Tate’), Reed, and Finn. They love traveling the world. Recently they just moved back from the Middle East, where Reed was born, and right now they might be “in between” countries… Who knows, really. For the moment, they are in Austin, Texas, Jane’s hometown. They love it except for the weather. If they could lift up the entire city and plop it down a few hundred miles north in the Rockies, they would love that. God still performs miracles.
Jane is a self-taught graphic designer, but sadly is too busy to take clients anymore. Her main passion is writing, and feels enormously blessed to do so here on her blog. Her first book, Organized Simplicity has been published in Oct 2010. Wild.
She loves blogging; the ability to write, to work from home doing something she loves, and getting to interact with people all day long. She is able to work from any country in the world. That’s pretty amazing.
