One important factor in the full experience for me was the incredible food prepared by Chef Melissa and her kitchen staff. "Dear Grail Springs friends, I spent two weeks at the Hippocrates Health Institute in Palm Beach recently. I was curious to experience the place so I could tell others about it (in my line of work I am often asked questions about health spas). The people working there are quite nice and the lectures they offer are very good.  Unfortunately the food is unpalatable and the dining area uninviting.  They only serve greens, mainly sprouts, all raw food and not very well presented. The claim is that the diet HHI serve is what people need to regain their health, and I certainly will not contradict that. There are many very sick people who go there as their last hope.  But for healthy folks who simply want to remain that way through relaxation and a healthy diet, I would recommend Grail Springs over Hippocrates.  Melissa you do such a good job with the meals there, and they are healthy meals too.  I was thinking of you with longing while at Hippocrates. "I decided to go to Grail Springs at a time in my life when I needed to refuel and reconnect with myself. The idea of a reasonably affordable Canadian getaway that combined a solid weight loss program with luxurious spa treatments seemed tantalizing, but frankly, unbelievable.
