'Living Authentically' Retreat

April 27th to 29th

This experiential workshop will provide the framework you will need to:

   1. Identify where you are feeling stuck in your life right NOW. This will assist you to recognize where you feel limited
   2. Identify and apply changes you know to make in your life, (relationships, vocation, diet, exercise/yoga program)
   3. The inspirational support to keep changing
   4. Support for the saboteurs that keep showing up to test you (without temptation there is no power in your choice to continue to change)

This experiential workshop is for you to initiate the actions you need to take in your life to begin living what you know you are here to do.  I call this kind of living, Listening to the Inner Prompter.  Listening to the Inner Prompter means you trust yourself to stick with the steps you need to take in life even when they don’t appear to make sense.  Especially then.  By learning how to access and touch this inner fuelling, you will feel what it’s like to be driven and cancel out sabotaging doubt-thoughts that previously stopped or scared you.

This means you will: feel and reveal what it means to live a life that reflects who you are.

I have seen in the past year, that people are riddled with anxiety, particularly “women-people”!  Anxiety is a powerful emotion that is frozen initiative.  When this initiative is accessed, the anxiety is revealed for what it is; the fear of being able to (successfully) do what we know we want to do.  When this fear is neutralized, the anxiety is cancelled and the drive underneath it is felt.  This requires stupendous stamina which is possible when you realize that this stamina comes from touching what you really want to do.  Then we act.  Action requires others.  We turn to others to inform us and support us.  When we feel anxious, it is difficult or impossible to have enough confidence in our self to do this.  In the workshop you will feel what it’s like to prompt yourself to feel inspired, keep the drive alive and connect with others to recognize you will be supported when you decide to act.

Friday

  • 3-5pm arrival, spa, fitness and fun in and around the property
  • 5:30pm tour and orientation
  • 6pm dinner

Saturday

  • 8am breakfast
  • 9:00am Grail World Mantra Practice
  • 9:15am Guided Hike or snowshoe
  • Yoga
  • 12:30 lunch
  • 1:30 Snow shoe excursion (optional)
  • 1:30-6pm spa, liesure time
  • 6pm dinner
  • 7pm Evening Workshop with Celeste Shirley

Sunday

  • 8am breakfast
  • 9am Grail World Mantra
  • 9:15am Guided Hike
  • 10:30am Yoga
  • 11:45am - Meditation
  • 9am - 11am Personal time for Hike, Spa therapy time, visit to the Grotto or Labyrinth
  • 11am check out of rooms
  • 12:30 lunch (optional)
  • Participants are invited to continue to enjoy the facilities, fitness classes and spa treatments. Lockers available upon request.

Since 1984 Celeste has inspired individuals to fit exercise, yoga and the ability to live more consciously into their busy schedules when it doesn’t seem possible. Celeste is a Kinesiologist having studied at York University in Toronto. Celeste’s knowledge of the body and self-directed way of living is derived from her active life as a tri-athlete, yogini, competitive bodybuilder, and overall avid exercise enthusiast.

Celeste is the owner of Better Built Bodies Fitness consulting in Toronto and runs her classes out of The Yoga House, on a gorgeous ravine in the East end.

Celeste raised her daughter on her own from birth and understands the challenges of being there with your child while running a business. In fact, it was this balancing act that taught her how to play more in life and exercise in a joyful and soulful way that truly energizes the mind/body. She clearly draws on this life lesson while teaching.

Celeste began instructing in 1984, working with coaches and elite athletes in university and colleges to improve their performance and reduce personal injury. Since that time, Celeste has inspired many populations to become strong in their bodies and at their best in life following motor vehicle accidents, surgery, and those starting a new life like paraplegics and young single mothers.

Celeste teaches private workshops/classes in Toronto, and trains individuals in-home, in the corporate sector, and workshop settings. Workshops include health management for organizations such as The Ontario Fitness Council, The Toronto District School Board, G.E. Canada, T.D. Waterhouse, The Young President’s Club, and The Addiction Research Foundation.

Private Sessions to assist Listening to the Inner Prompter (Living Life Authentically)

These one hour sessions provide the framework you will need to:

1.   Identify and apply changes you know to make in your life, (relationships, vocation, diet, exercise/yoga program)

2.       The inspirational support to keep changing.

3.       Support for the saboteurs that keep showing up to test you (without temptation there is no power in your choice to continue to change)

4.       An understanding of the mind/ body connection to demystify  changes you need to make.

Fee for session: $108.
